Even CNN is Mocking the Latest Meltdown from the Left!

The latest public meltdown from the Left saw even CNN mocking an embarrassingly bad protest of Elon Musk’s review of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) which many claim is nothing but a leftist “slush fund” wasting taxpayer dollars.

Just this week alone, we’ve seen the left dissembling before our eyes at their DNC Leadership Forum and a return to the tired violent rhetoric of the past from House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY). Given this latest display outside of USAID offices, we can safely say that the lunacy on display is not a bug; it’s a feature

Let’s break down the latest absurdities from the Left.

The Left’s “Shadow President” Conspiracy

Outside of the USAID offices, many prominent figures on the Left pushed a bizarre narrative claiming that Elon Musk is secretly running the country. And yes, they are Serious about that

The Left would have the American people believe that the man runs Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter) is pulling the strings behind the scenes of the U.S. government. And, that he is doing so behind the back of President Donald Trump, whom the Left has branded a dictator. It’s hard to imagine an actual dictator allowing such shadowy interference!

The Left accused conservatives of the “QAnon” conspiracy. Maybe this is the era of the “Blue Anon” conspiracy for the Left.

In response to their own contrived notions, the Left mobilized with their usual tactics of choice: emotional outrage and violent rhetoric. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) boldly declared to supporters, “We are at war!” and to “shut down” Washington D.C.  Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) called Musk a “N*zi nepo baby!”

Never Let Chuck Schumer Start a Chant!

Perhaps the most embarrassing moment in this total meltdown from the Left was when Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) tried to rally the troops with an awkward chant at the USAID event, and let’s just say…it did not go well. Schumer’s forced enthusiasm and sheer lack of rhythm made it one of the most hilariously embarrassing political moments in recent memory. Even CNN contributor Bakari Sellers, a staunch Democrat, pointed out how tone-deaf Schumer was, imploring Democrats not only to pick their battles, but to send the right message.

What is USAID? Depends on Who You Ask

Many looking at the Left melting down wonder: what exactly is USAID? Originally, President John F. Kennedy intended USAID to be a tool for goodwill and battling Communist influence globally.  But, to some on the right, USAID is a secretive “slush fund” that the Left uses to manipulate other nations to adopt policies like DEI. Other, like Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) supporters, USAID is another bloated government agency used to funnel money into progressive pet projects. Some even argue that USAID serves as a covert tool for intelligence operations.

What is clear from recent news is that USAID funds dubious initiatives that align with the Left and its  globalist agenda as seen in the graphic below detailing millions of dollars funding DEI and transgenderism, among other things.

While many applaud Musk’s temporary pause on USAID operations and funding, many feel the best solution to stopping USAID’s questionable distribution is to shut it down.

The Left’s Emotional Manipulation Tactics

When the Left cannot win on policy or at the polls, they tend to resort to emotional manipulation. The Left’s performative outrage over the Trump administration’s scrutiny of USAID isn’t about protecting people—it’s about control. The Left doesn’t want the American people to know where the money is going. So they distract with fits of emotion and hyperbolic rhetoric to rally their base and keep the focus off their failures; sometimes to the point of crossing the line between rhetoric and incitement to violence.

Senator John Kennedy’s Savage Take

In response to the Left’s latest passion play, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) offered the best take: how can the Left expect the government to control spending when they collectively freak out the moment someone tries to examine it? USAID has become a bottomless pit for taxpayer dollars, and the Democrats don’t want to answer for it because Musk’s investigation will expose – as it has already – frivolous spending. Kennedy’s sharp humor and blunt honesty in telling the Left to “call somebody who cares and they better get used to this.”

The Power of Political Disruptors

Why do Democrats view Musk and Trump as threats to democracy? Because they are political disruptors of the status quo of Washington politics. The Left thrives within Washington’s political machinery—’the Swamp,’ if you will—manipulating its levers to cling to power, as evidenced by the Left’s failed “lawfare” against President Trump.

Trump beat back the Left’s “lawfare” just like Musk removed the Left’s ability to control political narratives through his management of X.

It’s extremely difficult to be a political disruptor. Only those with the means and the will can pull it off in the face of monolithic political machines. Trump and Musk are disrupting the Left’s carefully curated monopoly on bureaucratic control. The left is especially terrified that an outsider like Musk, who wields the formidable combination of near-unlimited wealth and the full blessing of the President, can expose the Left’s games.

The Left can’t control either of them. And that drives them crazy.

Whether it’s the embarrassing Schumer chant, the meltdown over Musk, or the defense of curious USAID expenditures, one thing is clear: the Left is in full-blown panic mode. They know they’re losing control over the narrative, and their desperation is showing. The American people are waking up to the lies. No number of cringeworthy chants or media spin is going to stop it.
