If you were looking closely at last night’s DNC debacle, you may have noticed that the DNC duplicated viewers on a video wall during Kamala Harris’s speech.
Political conventions are supposed to create moments that raise enthusiasm for your candidate. In the time before COVID-19, thousands of loyalists would be in attendance screaming their heads off during speeches like Harris’s last night. But in today’s world, all the DNC could muster was a video wall of a handful of people.
And even within that handful of people, they duplicated three of them! It was like a hilarious game of “Memory” that we all used to play as a kid. Or those jokes about Democrats looking to vote more than once.
As you can see, Trump’s Twitter Team jumped all over this discovery, much to the gigglesnorts of the right.
For the side that objected to the comparison to Non-Playable Characters (NPCs), this techno-flub is NOT a good look. It’s certainly an indication that voter enthusiasm on the left is not so high.
