ABC will do anything to not use the word “riot” in response to outbreaks of vandalism, arson and violent crimes erupting out of protests in Oakland.
Demonstrators don’t commit these acts, of course. “Agitators among the demonstrators” do that.
Riots don’t break out. “Unlawful assemblies” develop.
This is yet another example of the attack on language – because if you can control the language, you control the narrative. That’s why institutions like Rutgers are turning to concepts like “critical grammar” to indoctrinate the next generation of progressive thought.
