See Who Made The “Egregious Eight” In The 2020 Buffoon of the Year Tournament!

Week 1 of the 2020 Buffoon of the Year tournament is in the books, so it's time to see who made "the Egregious 8!"
The first week of voting is done, and the winners have moved on the “Egregious Eight” of the Buffoon of the Year tournament.  But first, some highlights from the first round:
  • New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio pulled off the near-impossible!  He was the unanimous winner on Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler! Can he sustain that momentum against Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot?
  • Speaking of New Yorkers, everyone from the Empire State moved to the next round. Considering that Buffoon of the Year emanated from the “Peoples’ Republic of New York”, that shouldn’t come as any surprise!
  • The biggest upset of the tournament was Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, who beat Alyssa Milano 60-40. Can he keep his Cinderella story alive?
  • The biggest surprise of the tournament was the over-performance of the Lincoln Project, who just came up short against Hunter Biden. Is he the most vulnerable number one seed?
  • Also, props go out to Mazie Hirono, who gave Jerry Nadler more than a run for his money!
To look back at how each Buffoon made it into this year’s bracket, check out these videos: This year’s bracket was divided into 4 categories: The winners of this week’s vote go on to the “Felonious Four” and will be crown the “winners” of their particular bracket. They will then go on head-to-head to make it to the finals of the Buffoon of the Year Tournament!
